Our team is a diverse group composed of people from around New Mexico, and from different backgrounds. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our clients, and most of what we do is offered free to anyone. There is always someone here to assist and guide you in your event planning. We speak a number of languages and come from a number of backgrounds, so there is always someone here that can relate and understand where you’re coming from. An advocate for small business and a leader in community development, Shannon has demonstrated her leadership in many sustainable operations. She has a deep understanding of community, culture, and the economic development that drives our local economy.

BEATRICE DAVALOS
Destination Sales Executive
Bea Davalos was born and raised in New Mexico. A seasoned veteran of the team, she has worked at the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce for over 23 years. With years in the industry, Bea has a large network of relationships with venues, governments, and hotels.

CECILIA MARQUEZ
Destination Sales Executive
Cecilia Marquez has been a staff member of the Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce Convention and Tourism Department for the past 23 years. She moved to Albuquerque in 1982 from a small town west of Albuquerque, and has lived here ever since.

JOHN LEWIS
Conventions Services Representative
John Lewis was born in Tuba City, Arizona on the Navajo reservation, and was raised in Flagstaff with four brothers and three sisters. His mother is a member of the Navajo Nation, and his father was a member of the Zuni Pueblo.
