The HNBA’s 10th Annual Corporate Counsel
Conference Comes to Albuquerque!
The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, national membership organization of Hispanic and Latino legal representatives within the United States and its territories. The 2019 HNBA Annual Corporate Counsel Conference, along with the 24th Annual Uvaldo Herrera Moot Court Competition, will be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center from March 20 through March 23, 2019. This year, the Conference is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and Albuquerque is excited to serve as the host city.
Each year, attendees from Fortune 500 companies and solo practitioners’ offices gather for education and camaraderie. The Conference provides a unique opportunity for law students and legal professionals – representing practices (from solo practitioners all the way to conglomerate offices), specialties, and organizations from across the country – to meet, trade notes, and form valuable new connections and contacts.

Ascension
The theme for this year’s HNBA Conference is «Ascension,» reflecting its forward-looking emphasis. The first day of the conference is dedicated to the Uvaldo Herrera Moot Court Competition, ending with a welcome reception for all attendees. The HNBA Young Lawyers and Law Students Reception is scheduled for the morning of March 20. Thursday, March 21 marks the first full day of the conference, beginning with a plenary on Authentic Leadership. Afterward, participants split up to attend sessions in various tracks according to their specialties and interests. On March 22, a gala dinner closes the formal conference program.
Along with providing extensive educational opportunities, the Conference allows attendees to make contacts with others in the legal profession who they might not otherwise ever have the chance to meet. The 2019 Conference promises to be the most robust to date.
